Instructions:
Preparation steps
Take 3 medium size raw unripe bananas and 50 gm of arbi in a pressure cooker. Add 1.5 cups of water, switch on the flame and wait for 3 whistles. Once the stuff is cooked properly cooled, take out and peel the skin and place them all in a bowl. Mash them with a potato masher or a fork. Simultaneously add curd, arrowroot powder, black pepper , cumin powder , coriander leaves, pink salt and green chilli. On the other hand, roughly grind the nuts to coarse size. Mix all the ingredients properly (mashed paste and grinded nuts) inside the bowl. Now, take equal portions from the mixture and shape them into koftas with a stick.
Cooking
Heat up the pan and add 2 tsp of peanut oil. When the oil becomes hot, place the koftas in low to medium flame. When the base is cooked and becomes lightly golden, flip to the other side and again cook them properly. Repeat the same for others.
Serve
Serve them with fresh coriander-curd/ coconut chutney as a dip.
